The SLEDS (SLim Elastic Double Stack) Placard is a lightweight 5.56 rifle magazine carrier. It can be attached to placard compatible armor using the standard ITW GTSR 1" buckles and Velcro. Shoulder and back straps can also be attached to turn the SLEDS placard into a micro chest rig. It can also be paired with our LV-X to create a full-sized chest rig.
Integrated composite inserts allow for improved magazine re-indexing and retrieval compared to traditional elastic magazine pouches. This solution provides a lighter and lower profile alternative to pouches with Kydex or molded polymer inserts.
