The SLEDS 5.56 Retention Flap was designed to provide silent over-the-top retention to our Flex Panel, 5.56 SLEDS Placard, SLEDS AVS FLAP, SLEDS M4/AR Pouch, SLEDS Chest Rig, DRIP, and more.
Our unique closure system doesn't produce the distinct ripping or popping sounds characteristic to Velcro and buckle closures.
The pull-tab will lock around the anchor piece to keep the flap closed. Pulling the elastic cord attached tab downwards and out will release the flap.
Each flap connects to the rear of the placard/pouch with a 12" piece of coreless paracord. The flap can be adjusted at both ends for different items and placards/pouches.
These flaps are sold individually and will come with all components required for installation. Ex. Three flaps would be required to fully cover a 3x 5.56 SLEDS Placard
