The SLEDS (SLim Elastic Double Stack) M4/AR Short Magazine Pouch is the compact variant of the full height SLEDS M4/AR V3. These pouches are MOLLE compatible and will work with a wide variety of armor carriers, chest rigs, belts, and more.
This shorter style is often run on the belt as the primary speed reload. The lower height exposes more of the magazine, allowing for easier retrieval from that position. The smaller overall size also allows the SLEDS M4/AR Short to perform in a wider variety of roles, like belt or plate carrier mounted side-pull configurations.
Each pouch has an elastic front admin pocket. This can be used to carry a small multi-tool, chemlights/sharpies, or other small equipment. The secondary shock-cord band is designed to increase/adjust the retention provided during open-topped use.
Our integrated composite inserts allow for improved magazine re-indexing and retrieval compared to traditional elastic magazine pouches. These pouches are also much lighter and lower profile than those built with Kydex inserts.
