The Mid-Ride Reload Adapter V3 is designed to lower your belt-mounted rifle magazine out of the way of side armor and cummerbund mounted equipment.
The lowered magazine sits more comfortably within the natural range of motion of the arm and shoulder, aiding with smooth and fast magazine retrieval. The adapter is rigidly connected to the belt, preventing the magazine from swinging with the leg during movement.
The subtle 25 degree rearward angle further improves ergonomic efficiency without wasting valuable belt space.
The adapter will mount to both 1.75" two-piece belts (Ex. Eagle Operator Gun Belt, Ronin Belt, Blue Alpha Gear Belt, etc.) and 2" two-piece belts (Ex. UG Atom, Blue Force Gear CHLK Belt, etc.).
The Mid-Ride Reload Adapter will pair perfectly with our SLEDS M4/AR, SLEDS M4 Short, and SLEDS-K Universal Magazine pouches.
Installing the Mid-Ride Reload Adapter V3:
- Sort out your components. You will receive four sets of metal hardware, a set of spacing washers, and the MRR V3.
- Fold the adapter around your belt until the top mounting holes line up.
- Starting with the hole sets closest to the belt, use one of the four screw and post sets to close the fold. Two Tegris washers are recommended to sit between the front and back Tegris panels. Utilize the holes that place the washers flush against the bottom of your belt; it should be a tight fit, and you may have to apply pressure to get the threads started.
- At this point, the lower two screw holes can be closed in the same way. We recommend adding a bit of thread locker to all screw sets during install.
