This insert allows the LV-X Chest Rig to carry a large radio internally. The insert attaches with Velcro and a tie-down that keeps the insert locked to the LV-X. The tie-down will run through the LV-X MOLLE and back through the insert. An over-the-top retention bungee and pull tab kit is also included with this pouch.
The insert is sized for the PRC-152, PRC-148, and MPU-5 radios. The elastic construction allows the insert to carry either a radio, two 5.56 magazines, a small water bottle, or other similarly sized items.
